Using the HTC Thunderbolt for School

by Gareth Jale

The HTC Thunderbolt is one of the most popular Android smart phones on the market. What makes the Thunderbolt so attractive is its affordability coupled with its leading-edge performance. That's not an easy blend to achieve, and in light of that success, it's easy to see why the HTC Thunderbolt is even more popular among high school and college students than it is with working adults. Students will more than often seek affordability and this device gives them just that. HTC has ensured that there's a wide array of accessories available, and finding that perfect case or a screen protector is going to be a breeze. But what really draws students to the Thunderbolt is how well this device helps them to succeed academically.

In academics, there is a simple truth: a successful student is a well-organized student. Education always asks a lot of us and it makes us be more resourceful and to prioritize what is most important. Fortunately, gone are the days of scratching out work plans on notepads. Today, we have computers, and with a smart phone like the HTC Thunderbolt, we have a device that is powerful enough to juggle an intense college schedule while small enough to fit in our pockets.

When we think social networking, we tend to think of it as an opportunity to keep up with friends and family. But social networking also plays a much more serious role in our lives. Social networking is a great form of communication for students who then get immediate access to peers and teachers. Since this smart phone also has internet access anywhere you go, social networking allows you to get the latest homework, important news or even news about school projects.

If you are a student then you are most likely building your future and establishing contacts and other resources can be very beneficial for after you graduate. In order to this correctly, you need to remember faces and maintain a directory for phone numbers or other information. While that could be a massive undertaking, the powerful and efficient it makes it a simple one.

There are many phones lost by students every year and it can be very stressful trying to find it or having to buy a new one. Having to replace all of the lost information is what is really troublesome. Be sure to check out applications that can back-up your information. They allow us to back up any new data immediately to a secure online server. The Thunderbolt even has some built-in features that help facilitate this, and it's nice to have the peace of mind that losing your phone doesn't mean losing everything.
